Sew Sweet Swap

Yesterday I came across a sewing swap. I've always wanted to participate in a swap of some sort but haven't known what, or have come across them too late. For this swap, each person sews up a zippered pouch of some sort, fills it with sweets and includes a card/postcard to send to their allocated partner.

This is definitely a good excuse for eating chocolate/lollies - though I don't usually need an excuse! I also thought this would be great to get my inspiration and motivation rolling. Leading up to xmas I was sewing nearly every day making presents for various family members. Since being away, I have hardly sewn at all. This is a nice project to start designing and getting ready for posting to my partner.
